 pose of yard debris and other items free of charge Friday\, May 14 during 
 the Neighborhood Cleanup&nbsp\;in District 3.&nbsp\;Only residents in the 
 designated cleanup area are able to participate in the neighborhood cleanu
 p. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup area will not be collecte

 \n\nDuring neighborhood cleanups\, Escambia County departments team up to 
 bring services to residents in an effort to keep local neighborhoods clean
  and safe. Participating is easy: Residents in the cleanup area simply lea
 ve eligible items at the curb to be disposed of free of charge by Escambia
  County and partnering agencies.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nAll debris must be at the c
 urb directly in front of your residence by 7 a.m. on the day of the cleanu
 p.&nbsp\;Please keep tires and paint cans separate from all other debris. 
 Do not place piles under low-hanging lines or near poles\, fences or mailb
 oxes.\n\nItems eligible for removal include:\n\n\n\n\n\n    Household appl
 iances and electronics\n    Household junk and debris\n    Bicycles and to
 ys\n    Old furniture and mattresses\n    Barbecue grills\n    Household h
 azardous waste (old paint\, motor oil\, chemicals\, batteries)\n    Tires

 od cleanup initiative involves an aggressive clean-up effort\, targeting d
 ifferent neighborhoods throughout the county\, with crew members and volun

 urniture and household items.\nSince 2016\, more than 3\,014 tons (6\,028\
 ,000 pounds) of debris were collected and disposed of through the Communit
 y Redevelopment Agency's Safe Neighborhood Program.\nThe county's neighbor
 hood cleanup program is hosted by the Escambia County&nbsp\;Community Rede
 velopment Agency's&nbsp\;Safe Neighborhood Program.&nbsp\;Local partners i
