 at the Rosa Parks Transit Authority Building\, located at 1515 W. Fairfiel
 d Drive. During the event\, ECAT will unveil three new buses\, showcase bu
 ilding updates and promote free bus passes for youth through the Student T
 ransit Empowerment Pass (STEP) Program. One or more Escambia County Commis
 sioners may be in attendance during this event.&nbsp\;The three new 2022 G
 illig buses are the first buses to be added to the fleet since 2014. Equip
 ped with seated capacity for 23 riders and additional hand straps for ride
 rs to safely stand\, each bus is Wi-Fi ready\, contains automatic passenge
 r counters\, and can accommodate two wheelchairs and two bicycles.&nbsp\;T
 he STEP Program will allow students under the age of 18 to ride ECAT buses
  at no charge year-round. STEP pass applications will be available online 
 or in person at ECAT customer service offices. Applications must be comple
 ted by a parent or legal guardian and are valid until the end of the schoo
