DESCRIPTION:The Escambia HOME Consortium\, comprised of Escambia County\, t
 he City of Pensacola\, and Santa Rosa County\, Florida\, announces initiat
 ion of the public participation process that will facilitate the preparati
 on of the 2022/23 Annual Housing and Community Development Plan for the pe
 riod Oct.1\, 2022-Sept. 30\, 2023. This process serves as a collaborative 
 tool for the community by identifying or updating existing conditions in t
 he Consortium's member jurisdictions with respect to housing and community
  development needs\, goals and objectives.\n\nThe Consortium's 2022/23 Ann
 ual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development will identify the co
 mmunity's housing and community development priorities\, and target strate
 gies to address priorities established in the 2020-25 Escambia HOME Consor
 tium Consolidated Plan which will be implemented during the next Federal f
 iscal year. The 2022/23 Annual Plan\, when complete\, will denote the Esca
 mbia HOME Consortium's plans for the utilization of resources provided thr
 ough the fiscal year 2022 Community Development Block Grant\, fiscal year 
 2022 HOME Investment Partnerships Program\, and other programs designed to
  address housing and community development needs.&nbsp\; \n\nA series of p
 ublic meetings is being sponsored by the Consortium to afford citizens the
  opportunity to provide input and recommendations regarding housing and co
 mmunity development related needs and priorities within the Consortium.&nb
 sp\;A public hearing concerning the development of the Annual Plans will b
 e held at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday\, April 14\, 2022\, at 3363 West Park Plac

  Santa Rosa County will sponsor a public meeting on Thursday\, April 21\,
