  DeSoto St. The event will feature Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations available 
 inside the Community Center and a drive-thru trunk-or-treat-style candy di
 stribution in the main parking lot for children and families.\n\n&ldquo\;W
 e enjoy working with our community partners to get the word out about publ
 ic health and access to vaccines. We are looking forward to seeing our cit
 izens come out to take advantage of this special vaccination event and for
  children to grab some treats afterward\,&rdquo\; said Escambia County Dis
 trict 3 Commissioner Lumon May.\n\nVaccinations for individuals ages 12 an
 d older will take place inside the Brownsville Community Center from 5 p.m
 . to 6:30 p.m. The first 100 people to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
  at Saturday&rsquo\;s event will receive a $25 gift card in addition to a 
 Halloween goodie bag. Eligible persons who wish to participate in COVID-19
  vaccination may park in the Community Center side parking lot and walk in
  at their convenience during the 5-6:30 p.m. vaccine clinic hours. All ind
 ividuals ages 12 and older are encouraged to get their COVID vaccine at th
 is special event.\n\nDrive-thru Trunk-or-Treat will take place in the main
  parking lot across from the front doors of the Community Center. Voluntee
 rs will be on-hand to direct traffic\, instructing drivers to enter the ma
 in parking lot and drive slowly\, stopping briefly at each Trunk-or-Treat 
 vehicle. At that time\, a team member will come to the window of the parti
 cipant&rsquo\;s car and personally deliver candy and other treats to child
 ren in each car.\n\n&ldquo\;We are thrilled to join Community Health North
 west Florida and Commissioner May in this fun and festive way to promote v
 accinations\,&rdquo\; said Adrienne Maygarden\, Service Line Director of S
 tuder Family Children&rsquo\;s Hospital. &ldquo\;We look forward to safely
  celebrating this season with the children and families in our community."
 \n\nIMPORTANT:\n- Participants may elect to dress in family-friendly costu
 me\, but it is not required.\n- Treat distribution is for children only.\n
 - Vaccination participants 18 and older will be required to show photo ID.
