DESCRIPTION:Residents of northwest Oakfield will have the opportunity to di
 spose of yard debris and other items free of charge Wednesday\, Sept. 11 d
 uring the Northwest Oakfield Neighborhood Cleanup&nbsp\;in District 3.&nbs
 p\;Only residents in the designated cleanup area are able to participate i
 n the neighborhood cleanup. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup 
 area will not be collected.&nbsp\;The general cleanup area is south of I-1
 0\, west of northeast Oakfield Road\, east of Pensacola Boulevard and nort
 h of Majors Road. See the map below for the details of the cleanup area.&n
 bsp\;\nDuring neighborhood cleanups\, Escambia County departments team up 
 to bring services to residents in an effort to keep local neighborhoods cl
 ean and safe. Participating is easy: Residents in the cleanup area simply 
 leave eligible items at the curb to be disposed of free of charge by Escam
 bia County and partnering agencies.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nAll debris must be at
  the curb directly in front of your residence by 7 a.m. on the day of the 
 cleanup. Please keep tires and paint cans separate from all other debris. 
 Do not place piles under low-hanging lines or near poles\, fences or mailb
 oxes.\n\nItems eligible for removal include:\n\n    Household appliances a
 nd electronics\n    Yard waste\n    Household junk and debris\n    Bicycle
 s and toys\n    Old furniture and mattresses\n    Barbecue grills\n    Hou
 sehold hazardous waste (old paint\, motor oil\, chemicals\, batteries)\n  
   Tires (limit 10 per household)\n\nItems NOT eligible for removal include
 :\n\n    Building materials (concrete\, bricks\, blocks\, roofing\, drywal
 l or lumber)\n    Explosives or ammunition\n    Auto parts\n    Dirt or so

 ighborhood cleanup initiative involves an aggressive clean-up effort\, tar
 geting different neighborhoods throughout the county\, with crew members a
 nd volunteers picking up a variety of debris and waste\, including electro
 nics\, furniture and household items.&nbsp\;\n\nSince 2016\, more than 1\,
 929 tons (3\,859\,840 pounds) of debris were collected and disposed of thr
 ough the Community Redevelopment Agency's Safe Neighborhood Program.\nThe 
 county's neighborhood cleanup program is hosted by the Escambia County&nbs
 p\;Community Redevelopment Agency's&nbsp\;Safe Neighborhood Program.&nbsp\
