DESCRIPTION:The Florida Department of Transportation will hold two communit
 y workshops concerning U.S. Highway 98 and West Cervantes Street. The firs
 t workshop will be held Tuesday\, July 16 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Brownsvill
 e Community Center\, 3200 W. De Soto St. The second workshop is scheduled 
 for Tuesday\, August 13\, from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Fricker Community Center\
 , 900 N. F St.\nProposed improvements include reducing the size of traffic
  lanes\, adding crosswalks and pedestrian-controlled signals\, and constru
 cting a center median with a low barrier. Improvements may include the add
 ition of new signals and upgrades to existing signals\, as well as supplem
 entary lighting at existing intersections and crosswalks. Construction is 
 estimated at $7.5 million with work anticipated to begin fall 2020.\nMaps\
