The Florida Department of Transportation (F DOT) will hold a public workshop for proposed noise barrier wall improveme nts to State Road (S.R.) 8 / Interstate 10 (I-10) at S.R. 95 (U.S. 29) in Escambia County Tuesday\, Feb. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CST at the M arie K. FDOT has prepared a traffic noise evaluation and determined locations for potential noise barrier walls. If constructed\, the noise ba rrier walls would be similar in appearance to other noise barrier walls al ong I-10.

Four noise barrier locations are proposed:

&bull \; Noise Barrier BA is proposed on the north side of I-10 (Hope Manor neig hborhood) at 8-feet high\, 400-feet long\;

&bull\; Noise Barrier B B is proposed on the north side of I-10 (Oak Forest / Lost Creek neighborh oods) at 18-feet high\, 2\,689-feet long\;
